KSIR was known as "The New Sound in the Rockies"

Big news! Bob Gaines has shared a number of great photos of the station and they are now posted in the Photo section! Enjoy!

Brian Schaefer has shared his recollections of KSIR, both as a listener and as a member of the on-air staff. He worked at KSIR starting in the summer of 1986, off and on through the summer of 1988. He also worked again in 1991 for KRKI and wrapped up his radio career in 1999 at the FM that operated at 102.1

We are looking for more photos, stories, and other memorabilia to add to this web site to celebrate a very special radio station that we remember fondly. Thanks to Dave Thomas for helping get this project started!
